Since we started selling soap in 1982, we have always heard back from our customers. We have a binder full of what we call 'love letters' from our mail order customers over the past 25+ years that make us feel good about what we do. Here's an example: 'Just a note to say thank you for making such wonderful soaps. I have always been a bar soap fiend since childhood. Ask my mom, I was always sniffing soap and eager to unwrap and lather a new bar. I loved my Grandma's gadget that pressed scraps into a whole new bar. My husband even noticed early on that I could hardly wait for the old bar to dissolve so I could use a new one! I made the switch from detergent soaps to natural soaps about 8 years ago (?) or so. Anyhow, I've tried many different soaps and scents, even read some soapmaking books and realized it's a little more tricky to make than some people might let on. So I have to say your soaps are the only ones in our bath now. My husband really likes them, after complaining that some other natural soaps weren't effective or too perfumed or too harsh. I like your soaps because they never dry my skin and I've found other 'natural' soaps are so heavy on scent that I either get a rash or a tickly nose. So keep up the good work!' C. This is the first conditioner I have found that I am able to use in years. I am allergic to all fragrances, and have had quite a struggle finding products I can use. A. Unfortunately, once a package leaves our premises it is out of our hands. While we would like to be able to guarantee all orders will arrive in timely manner, occasionally one is late or even lost. Note: If you contact us directly any time an order is later than the delivery date noted on our e-mail and we are happy to track it down as best we can or send out a replacement, as needed. We love your soaps. And, its nice to find a company that manufactures them without putting more stress to the environment. One suggestion - the witch hazel smells better from the Vermont Company rather than the Dickinsons one. M. De Leon I have been a simmons customer for 12 to 14 years. I have used Simmons almond castile and now almond scented oatmeal soap bars for years, (oily skin), and have been introduced to new products as well. I have never had a complaint. C. Atkins These are nice people, their merchandise is always good or better, I have never had a complaint. Their service is the best. They sell many unscented products which are what I order. Their unscented oatmeal soap is my favorite. My last order included shampoo and conditioner, unscented and safe for people who have chemical allergies. I love it, I have been using a health food store brand for years, the one I just got is perfect, improved my hair with first use. I hesitated to buy it because it costs almost double our usual brand. Cole Note: Ms. Cole is correct to a point. During regular order flow we ship 2x / weekly, Monday and Thursday. ALL orders go out within 1-3 business days. If we receive your order after the orders are shipped, it will go out with the next shipment. When order volume is up, we ship more days per week to make sure all the orders get out within the same week (except orders received after shipment goes out on Fridays). Due to our remote rural location, 3-day can take 4 days. This is why we do not offer overnite (whch is impossible from here) or 2-day, which is a lot more expensive. What happens is, when the driver gets back to the main office in town after driving his 120 - 230 mile route, the express plane has already left, delaying the package by 1 day. The very longest a 3 day package can take is 6 days, if ordered on a Friday after shipping. The same package, sent regular, could take up to 12 days. If a customer lets us know it is imperative a package arrive by 'X' date, we do everything we can (and they are willing to pay for) to get it there on that date.
