 Traditional tampons and pads are cotton and/or rayon, grown and processed using a vast array of chemicals, then chlorine bleached, adding dioxin. These tampons are all 100% certified organic cotton. By fall of 1993, the Texas Organic Cotton Marketing Cooperative (TOCMC) was formed to create a stable and consistent supply of certified cotton fiber.
